Mathilde Catros
Originally from Toulouse, the artist has been living in Berlin since 2013.
Creating sculptures allows Mathilde to materialize her imagination. The artist particularly enjoys working with clay, a natural and maleable material that can take any shape. For Mathilde colors are inseparable from form, bringing life and light to each piece. Mathilde works with various materials, including clays, colored clays, porcelain, engobes and glazes. The artist loves to depict fantastical worlds by creating expressive characters and exploring the numerous possibilities clay offers in free forms.
